June 26th & 27th", "Mimmenuk's Dancin'In The Rain" (Helio) took WD/BOS/BPB at the Hamilton Kennel Club show. This gave him his first point towards his
Canadian Championship. Thank you judges Paul Odenkirchen and Honey Glendinning.

June 20th "Mimmenuk's Dancin'In The Rain" (Helio) took BOS and BPB at the Monarch Kennel Club show, We were entered on the next day but due to back problems on my part, we could not attend.

May 17th & 18th was the debut for "Mimmenuk's Dancin'In The Rain" (Helio). At the K-W show he took RW and BPB both days. Not bad for his first time in the ring.

November 25th 2006 Bearhug's Rushin To Mimmenuk (Moscow) gave birth to 4 boys and 4 girls. Proud father is CH Spiritrun's Nanuq Qipmiq (Nanuq) For Pictures of the new family click here

October 27th 2006 UWP UAG-I UKC/CAN CH Mimmenuk's Amber Quamaniq ( Q) gave birth to 3 boys and 2 girls. Proud father is Mimmenuk's Aklark Qimmik (Kodi) Congratulations to Peg and Mark Sturtz for their fine litter at Quamaniq Kennel in Michigan USA

October 17th 2006 Mimmenuk's Secret of Nahanni (Una) gave birth to 5 boys and 2 girls. 4 are wolf sable and 3 are wolf grey. Proud father is Spiritrun's N Nahanni Keetuk. ( Tuk) Congratulations to Bob and Dolores Sturdivant for their fine litter at Nahanni Kennels is Washington State USA

July 7-9th 2006 at the Oxford County Kennel Club Show in Woodstock Ontario, "Mimmenuk's Four On The Floor" (Atanarjuat) went WD, BOW, BPB for 2 points on Friday under judge Mr. W. Dean. On Saturday he went RW and BPB under judge Mr. J. White. Sunday he took WD, BOW, BPB for another 2 points under judge Mrs. L Boutwell. Thank you judges.

On July 1st 2006 "Mimmenuk's Silatuyok Qimmiq" (Hedwig), gave birth to 10 healthy puppies, 8 males and 2 females. The sire is "Shelaskan's Son Of The Chief" Yuma. Hedwig is a littermate to "Mimmenuk's Asuilaak Karpok" (Asuilaak) "Mimmenuk's Aklark Qimmiq" ( Kodi) and "Mimmenuk's Peek A Boo Icey Woo" (Siku)

Hedwig's pups have arrived yesterday. I have already posted some pictures on our homepage www.alaskanmalamutes.ch
Hedwig has done her job outstanding exellent... I don't know more words for such a great job of hers in Englisch! She has 8 boys and 2 girls. They were born in 2,5 hours (between 7.30 a.m. and 10.00 a.m! how comftable!!) and weigh between 340 and 440 gramms. Today 36 hours later they are already 20 to 30 gramm heavier! Hedwig does her job very well. She is very patient with everyone, us, the vet, and my family that came to see her and her babies...

June 23rd 2006 Una becomes "AM CH Mimmenuk's Secret Of Nahanni " going WB and winning her second Major. Way to go Bob and Dolores. Una is my first homebred American Champion.

Here is what her Dad had to say: This story begins with an email, digital photos, a phone call and a 5400 mile roundtrip "look see" trip to Toronto Canada and a gorgeous sable puppy bitch coming home with us... The rest is now history!
The happy ending to this post took place at the Pocatello/Eagle Rock KC shows in Idaho this past weekend when "Mimmenuk's Secret of Nahanni" completed her American Championship! Una went WB on Thursday, WB/BOW on a "cross over" major under Judge Mrs. D O Hutchinson to finish on Friday and the icing on the cake was a BOS on Sunday to top off a very successful weekend! <VBG> Una waited patiently in the wings as a puppy while her kennel mate, Am/Can CH. Spiritrun N' Nahanni's Keetuk finished both his US and Canadian titles as he turned two years old. Not to be outdone "The Sable Sensation" held a coming out party of her own in June 2005 at Puyallup KC going WB/BOW for her first two points and has never looked back!!!
Una's record included back to back BOB's from the classes, 3 BOS over Specials bitches, a 3 and a 4 pt major and 2 RWB's to 3 and 4 pt majors! All of this by the ripe "old age" of 24 months... To say we aren't proud of her would be an understatement!
A big "Thank You" to Brigitte Wiatowski and Mimmenuk Kennels in Ontario Canada for sharing this beautiful sweet girl with us, she is truly a dream come true!

May 20-22nd 2006, "Mimmenuk's Four On The Floor" (Atanarjuat) entered his first dog show in Kitchener Waterloo just nine days past his 6 month Birthday. Saturday he won BOB over Special under judge Ferelith Samerfield from the UK. Sunday he won BOW,BP,BOS under judge Harold Hutchison and to top the weekend he won a BOW, BP, BOB on Monday under judge Paul A. Odenkirchen. Thank you judges. This gives Atanarjuat 3 points towards his CAN CH.  What a nice start for this lovely soft boy.

July 12/05 Q finishes her Canadian title under judge Tom Burke from PE. at the age of 22 month. This is Mimmenuk's first homebred CH and a red one at that.

July 11&12/05 "Mimmenuk's Aklark Qimmiq" KODI goes RWD both days. This was Kodi's first time out.

"June 16/05 "UKC CH Mimmenuk's Amber Quamaniq" pulled 865lbs on wheels in 10.83 seconds pulling 11.08% of her body weight. This was her third and final leg. Way to go Peg and the fabulous Q. From the moment she was born, we knew she was special. It's not easy being a redhead in a grey world. She now has added a new title to her name " UKC UWP CH Mimmenuk's Amber Quamaniq"

Agility-1 legs with a 4th place and a 3rd place. Q also has 8 points towards her Canadian Conformation Championship.

June 11/05 at the  Puyallup Valley Dog Fancier show in WA "Mimmenuk's Secret of Nahanni" UNA earned her first 2 points towards her American Championship under judge James Reynolds. On June 12/05 she went RWB. Not a bad start for this sable sensation. Una is loved and owned by Bob and Dolores Sturdivant. Way to go guys!!
